Lakewood Falls is a residential community located in unincorporated Plainfield. It is comprised of more than 10,000 residents in 2,338 detached single family and attached duplex homes. Children on the east side of Lakewood Falls (sections A through G) attend Romeoville District 365U schools, while children on the west side of Lakewood Falls (sections G through P) attend Plainfield District 202 schools.
The subdivision is governed by Lakewood Falls Community Association, which maintains over 18 miles of roadway, 100+ acres of common area, 17 water retention ponds, and community parks. It also provides it's residents with a 24-hour neighborhood security patrol, and hosts community events

at it's centrally-located Bruce Ponti Park, including annual Easter Egg Hunts, July 4th Fireworks, and summertime Movies In The Park. Construction of a new clubhouse facility for the storage of security vehicles and hosting of community meetings is currently underway.
